A sightseeing tour to Pillnitz – with a visit of the Pillnitz Castle Park:
The excursion to Pillnitz Castle takes you from Dresden‘s historic city centre, past the most important city sights, across the Elbe at Blaues Wunder bridge and through idyllic old vineyards to Pillnitz in 12 km distance. The bus reaches Pillnitz Castle after 40 minutes. The Baroque complex with the water and mountain palace, pleasure garden and maze, tea pavillion, orangery, large outside staircase, the palm house and the oldest Japanese camellia in Europe is an art-historical treasure. It offers visitors a diverse experience during a stroll through the park and a visit to the palace. The Elbe meadows vis á vis the three Elbe Castles are part of the return trip with the bus.
